Schools and Degrees for Border Patrol Agents

There is extensive travel time while you work as a border patrol agent. This is due to the fact that you are protecting our nation’s borders and you may find yourself near the southern border near Mexico one day and be traveling up North towards Canada next month. A border patrol agent is the first line of defense at the borders and you need to make sure that you are qualified and ready to handle it. Most border patrol officers get a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice.
