On this page are:
- Links to information for possible class
projects and videos especially relevant
to a comparative (even if not comparative justice, specifically)
course are provided
- Although not directly related to comparative justice, some
instructors may discover that students are not as informed about
world geography or politics
as the instructor, or students, would like to be. Links here will
help develop a better understanding of geography and politics around
the world
- While I am providing this site to instructors and students using
my
Comparative Criminal Justice Systems
textbook, I fully appreciate the need for other text and/or supplemental
reading options

The Promise of Justice
is an on-going documentary series examining the
machinery and insidious legacy of war crimes, and
the struggle for justice in societies convulsed by
mass violence. Especially interesting is the
RealAudio presentation
Justice on Trial, which covers the International
Criminal Court. Great for "smart classroom" use or
as a class assignment for students to listen to on
their own. New Frontline

Your Nation is an interactive
online tool allowing users to compare various statistics for any two countries worldwide,
rank countries by specific statistics, or display statistical summaries of individual
countries. Users may customize statistical analyses through three settings: the world
zone, the data category, and the current modifier. Explicit instructions for customizing queries are available at the site. Most of the
data presented are derived from the World Factbook. Your Nation uses Macromedia
Flash by default, hence users without newer browsers will need to obtain the free browser
plug-in. >From the Scout
