Border Patrol Agent Jobs

As a Border Patrol Agent you will be responsible for detecting and obtaining people conducting illegal activity along the US borders.  Expect to often spend your workdays traveling around by car, or on foot, continuously surveying suspected areas of illegal crossings and possible drug trafficking.  You will also find yourself following up on leads from aircraft sightings or electronic sensor television systems. Specific jobs duties include

  1. Tracking illegal’s trying to cross into US territory
  2. Gathering physical evidence of suspects
  3. Monitoring traffic
  4. Patrolling border cities.

A Border Patrol Agent spends a workday often on the go, and must be prepared to stop illegal aliens and drug and human traffickers. Long hours are the norm but your options to explore other areas increase vastly when you spend a few years working in this position.  Some transfer positions include but are not limited to:
