As a DEA agent expect to work with the CIA and FBI in coordinating investigations concerning the control of drugs and preventing international smuggling. You will be educated in report writing, law, drug recognition, leadership and ethics. Physical training includes marksmanship, weapons safety, tactical shooting and deadly force decision making. Here are some of the day to day job duties you will be responsible for managing:
- Infiltrating drug trafficking organizations
- Arresting violators
- Investigating laundering schemes
- Investigating the illegal distribution of prescription medications
- Testifying in court
